THE OTHER MICHAEL JACKSON
Documentary | Channel 4 I 2010
First Cut: The Other Michael Jackson is a Channel 4 documentary about British singer Mick Jackson, who co-wrote and originally recorded the hit "Blame It on the Boogie." The film explores how his version was quickly overshadowed by The Jacksons’ release of the same song, sparking a media-fueled “Battle of the Boogie.” Told through the eyes of Mick’s son, the documentary reflects on missed fame, music industry politics, and artistic recognition.
